Owner: Larry Miller Shelby Factory Team Cobra, CSX2155 289 LeMans Roadster. CSX2155 is a "Customer" LeMans Replica. It was originally painted white. Carroll Shelby had two cars prepared for LeMans in 1963 but they were raced by other teams. Shelby also produced three "LeMans Replicas" that were raced in 1963 as factory team cars and three "Customer Cars". An integral (rather than rivited) hood scoop, four 481IDM Weber carburetors, large side vents to exhaust hot air from the engine compartment and a shortened truck to allow fitting of an aerodynamic hard top are only four of the over forty changes made to these unique LeMans cars. This car has unique fender flares and dash instrumentation as well as FIA wheels. The car was owned by Stan Hallinan and stored from the late 1960's until purchased by Larry Miller in 1998.
